If you are going to arrange a children’s holiday, it is necessary to provide for every detail, including invitations for guests. This touching tradition always evokes positive emotions among the invited, and also allows for better remembering of the event. Especially if all invitations are made by themselves, and even from unexpected materials.
From the very beginning
The face of any children’s holiday, and not only children’s, is an invitation card. She can tell the guests about the theme of the holiday that you have conceived, or, keeping the secret, on the contrary, “warm up” the interest.
How will the invitation for your child’s guests look depends on several factors:
- number of guests. If it will be a large-scale holiday, it is better to use ready-made invitations or order their production on your own model (it will take a lot of time to self-“draw”).
- age of the child. If a birthday person is under 5 years old, it is better to take on the mission of “invitations” to parents. Kids obviously cannot do something themselves. But, do not forget to offer options for the children’s court, so that the culprit of the celebration himself chose the design he liked.
- time. If you have enough time, it’s best to make the invitations yourself, but necessarily with the participation of the child. This card will get much nicer than the standard purchase option.
What does your heart want?
It is not difficult to make an invitation card yourself. Ideas for creating original and home-made options are many. But, if you still do not find the strength to do miracles with your own hands, order them to be made (this can be done on your own model).
But with the use of ready-made templates, you can also make unusual invitations. It’s enough to decorate them a little by gluing foil, cotton wool, various stickers (sold in book stores) and wrapping in unusual packaging. Want to save money? You can print the forms yourself – using a color printer.
With your own hands
In any hardware store are sold rubberized (lace) napkins. They can be used as packaging for a ready-made invitation letterhead. Just put the cardboard in the middle and fold the napkin from all sides, bending it. You can fix the ends with a satin ribbon, self-adhesive bows or other stickers (for example, in the form of an emoticon). On the other side, you can also draw a simple drawing. The kid can also dip his palm in the paint and leave an imprint of his palm on the invitation.
Draw on the colored paper with a stencil the outline of a butterfly (wings and a head with a mustache). Color with the help of markers or decorate with stickers. Then on small colored sheets write the text (or print on the computer) and print on colored paper. Fold the leaf into a tube and tie a butterfly to the body with a ribbon (for this, two holes must be made in the trunk: to insert the ribbon there and tie it).
Option 1. Print the text of the invitation on thin colored paper. Fold so that it can be pushed into the ball, through its “neck”. Then inflate the ball (better with gas) and tie it. Now you can safely hand an unusual invitation to the guest.
Option 2. You can also text the invitation to the ball itself (for example, using a pen). Such services are also offered by a photo studio.
Option 1. Print text for the invitation so that it fits on a piece of paper about 2cm by 5 cm in size. Unfold the candy wrapper, insert the text and wrap it back. With cookies, things will be a bit different. It must be baked on its own, wrapped in a piece of paper.
Cookie recipe: Separate the squirrels (2 pcs.) From the yolks, placing them in a bowl. Whisk the whites slightly, then add vanillin (3/4 tsp) and vegetable oil (3 tbsp) and continue to beat until the mixture begins to foam. Take another bowl, put 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 tsp. starch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup flour and 4 tsp. water. Mix everything with a mixer to such an extent that a uniform mass is obtained. At this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Continuing to shake gently, pour in eggs. The result should be a thick mixture. Lubricate the paper to bake with butter, then gently spread the dough circles on the paper, leaving a large distance between the circles. Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Put the invitation on the biscuits (immediately, while the dough is still soft and flexible). Roll the cookies into a tube, and then bend like a horseshoe. Keep in such a state for a while, so that it takes shape and hardens. Now place the folded cookie in the cake mold (it usually climbs, if not, slightly adjust the shape) and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
Option 2. With this request you will need to contact the photo studio. It is a wrapper for a candy, on which an invitation is printed. In this case, you need to think about the picture that will be next to the text, and the background color.
All children love toys, so you can present guests an invitation card attached to the toy or placed in it (as in the case of New Year’s gifts). If the toy is big enough, you can attach a full-fledged card with the text, if small – it is better to roll the paper.
Cut out a rectangle of brown paper with rounded corners. Glue it on a wooden or plastic stick. Print the text (or write by hand) on colored light paper and glue it to the brown rectangle. You can make the text hidden by folding the paper in half and pasting it with stickers to the brown background. You can also attach a ribbon to the wand by making a bow.
Take the shipping film in pimples (exactly the one that all the children usually blubber). Spread it with yellow paint. Take a cardboard, the form that you want to make an invitation, and attach a painted film to it. A pattern resembling a honeycomb should appear. Next, you need to paint or paste a bee. On the other hand, write the text of the invitation.
Take a sheet of colored paper, fold in half. On one side draw a shape of the palette. Then cut out so that on one side there is an uncut leaf (like a postcard). Cut 11 colorful circles of paper and paste on the edge of the cover. Write the word “invitation” by typing one letter in one circle, and inside the “postcard” write the text of the invitation itself.
For the holiday with the theme of a pajama party it would be actual to have an invitation in the form of a mask for sleeping. It is enough to draw on the dense multi-colored cardboard the outline of the mask and cut it out. Attach the ribbons on each side and paste the printed (written) text on either side.
On a note! Now it is not difficult to independently even decorate a white sheet of cardboard or paper. In shops for needlework or books, various decorations for fakes are sold: flowers, special liquid pencils-paints, punch-holes, making edges of paper of unusual shape, etc.
After you have already decided what the invitation card will look like, you need to write a text for it. If the child has already learned to write, it would be better if he did it himself. However, to make it original and without errors, adults need a little help.
A popular option is to sign the invitation in a poetic form (you can use ready-made verses or invent them yourself). Also, the invitation should not contain a lot of text. The main thing is that it should contain information about the date and time of the event, the format (perhaps you will have an entrance to the costumes) and a place. If you are calling for a holiday of children with their parents, then do not forget to prescribe this moment. On the back of the card, you can specify additional information for the parents.
